Q. What is the difference between free email like, and paid email services?

A paid email service will provide a unique email address that is created just for you and is linked to your domain name. Your unique or “personal” email address will help build your brand, make it more memorable, and enhance your credibility and business reach.

Q. How to get an business email address ( personal email address / individual email address) ?

It’s easy. The first step is choosing your domain name. Once you’ve registered your name you can use it as your email address. After purchasing the email solution that’s best for you, set up your emailboxes using your domain name. This adds an additional level of professionalism in your day to day email communication.

Q. Is a domain name included in business email package?

No, domain names are not included in the business email package. You may register one through KPR Hosting or use one you already have. But remember a domain name is required to activate and peronalize your emailboxes.

Q. Do I have to have my domain name registered with KPR Hosting to use emails?

No. Having your domain registered with KPR Hosting is not required. If you plan to use a domain that is not registered with KPR Hosting simply enter the domain name when you are prompted to do so during set-up. If you plan to use a domain name registered with KPR Hosting simply use that domain name at purchase time.

Q. Do you have anything in place for remotely accessing email?

There’s basic Webmail for access on any Internet connection. Plus, you can access and manage your mail from your Web-enabled cell phone, smart phones or PDA.

Q. Which mobile phones can I access my mail from?

Your email can be accessed using any Smartphone or Tablet. Our Email Hosting is compatible on all major Operating systems such as iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Blackberry.

Q. Can I use Outlook to view my email?

Yes. Use the POP3 feature to manage your email service with commonly-used email programs like Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and others. Our email service allows you to view, send and manage your email through Outlook and other popular email clients.

Q. Which Email Clients can I use?

You can send and receive emails using any desktop-based email client such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird, Eudora, Entourage 2004, Windows Mail, etc. We also have a guide on how you can configure different email clients to send/receive emails

Q. What are email aliases?

As a small business owner you wear many hats. Email aliases help keep you organized by allowing you to set up different email addresses for special events or product lines, such as or The emails sent to the alias will be delivered to the email address that you designate, allowing you to manage your communication all in one place.

Q. What is the space provided per Email Account?

Each email account comes with 2GB space and you can create Unlimited Email Accounts through the Email Hosting package.

Q. What ports do I need to use for Email Hosting?

Usually, the port used for the Outgoing Mail Server/SMTP Service is 25. However, there might be a situation where your ISP might be blocking the use of port 25 for SMTP service. To circumvent this you can use an alternate port 2525 for sending mails.

Q. Can I create mailing lists?

Yes you can create mailing lists and add/delete users, select a moderator, restrict people from joining a list or even ban users from a list. More information on this can be found in our User Guide article.

Q. What is your SPAM policy?

We take a zero tolerance stance against sending of unsolicited e-mail, bulk emailing, and spam. “Safe lists”, purchased lists, and selling of lists will be treated as spam. Any user who sends out spam will have their account terminated with or without notice.

Q. Can I use Auto Responders?

Yes you can. An auto-responder is a program that, when setup for your email address, sends out an automatic pre-set reply to an email, as soon as it is received at this email address. To set up an Auto Responder, please refer to the following User Guide article.
